Realizing that my dreams of a simple life really can come true, I now know that it’s not only where you live, but how. Many people have a happy life in different places. This is just my story of finding a simple life. At the age of 23, I left rural life behind and started living and working full-time in the city. I was so busy and motivated to succeed I rarely noticed the difference between city life and farm life. As I write this, those simple memories of the farm life are always with me.

Nature is part of a Simple Life

Know God by enjoying and spending more time outdoors with less man made and more God made. Romans 1:20, NLT:

"For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities--His eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God."

Another idea to consider is that a meal is never over until the dishes are done. That means that a kitchen always has clean counters.
